I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2021 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications and will be attending Queens University of Charlotte to get my MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing beginning in Fall of 2026. I have six years of experience in nonprofit marketing and communications, development, and community engagement. I am currently the Development & Engagement Manager at Wing Haven.

In addition to my full-time role, I am the Sponsorship Co-Chair for the 2026 AFP NC Philanthropy Conference as well as a member of the American Public Gardens Association’s Public Garden magazine Editorial Advisory Group. I am also a freelance writer and editor.
